So G-mommy was released from the hospital only to be taken right back almost a week later. Her port that she gets her TPN (nourishment through an IV kinda thing) got infected so she got really sick. They took the port out and are giving her a PPN (same thing just in an actual IV in her arm but it's not as good as a TPN). So no she isn't getting enough nourishment from the PPN so she's really weak and can't get out of bed any more so they gave her a catheter. Also it isn't as much as she would be getting from a TPN so she isn't using the bathroom as much which is shutting down her kidneys. They are going to put a pick line in her arm so that way she can get the TPN again but the problem with that is pick lines always give her blood clots. So we don't know how well that will turn out. But the one good thing is that they got her wound pouched instead of just bandaged so that is helping out a huge amount. Since she's got an infection and is to weak to move she will staying at the hospital for 13 days, which leaves just 3 days left that her Medicaid will pay for. So it's cutting it close. We're having trouble with the doctors and nurses not communicating which each other so that's really annoying. And trying to get the home nurses, medication, and supplies all figured out is a big hassle. We're all praying that everything gets figured out and know that it's all in Gods hands. If He takes her then we know it is for the best and she has had a wonderful full life and is no longer suffering.
On top of that my cousin Ben, he's actually married to my cousin Brittney but whatever, went to have his regular check for cancer and they found a spot in his chest. He has to go every so many months to get checked because he's had lymphoma before. They treated it and beat it. It came back, they treated it and beat it. Now they found a spot and are doing more test to find out if it's cancerous. We're praying that it comes back as something else, pretty much anything else but cancer again.
And on top of that my cousin Blair was let go yesterday from his job in Nashville. The company had to make cut backs and he was the highest paid person so they decided it was him. So now he's trying to figure out where he wants to go and what he wants to do. We're all praying that he can sell his house and figure out what he wants to do know before his severance pay ends in 3 months.
So that's the Abbott clan drama so far.
