The weekend of the 24th of August I went to spend the weekend with my friend Stephanie and her husband Randy. It was a nice relaxing weekend. Good food, good shopping, good company.
Last week was a very aggravating week at work but I did get a lot done. Took my dress to the dry cleaners, picked up my transcript from Darton and turned in my Graduation form AGAIN (I won't even start on that subject stupid morons at the registrars office).
This past weekend I spent Friday and Saturday night hanging out with my friend Brad. We sit around and watch movies and tv, such a thrilling life we live. lol. Sunday and Monday didn't do much of anything.
My parents left Friday and are gone until next Sunday. They've gone to tour some of the New England states. They may even go over into Canada for a day. Anyways on Saturday it rained a little at the house and when I looked outside I noticed a puddle under the covered part of the deck near the door which the rain shouldn't have reached. I went outside and sure enough there was a leak. It was right at a seam of sheet-rock on the ceiling. So then I went in the attic to see if it was the roof. Luckily it wasn't. It was the air-conditioner. The drain to the trap that holds the condensation was clogged. So the trap was full and dripping over onto the ceiling of the deck. Luckily there was nothing actually wrong with the air-conditioner and that it was over the deck and not the house. I stuck a towel under there to help catch some of water and keep it from leaking through. I called my dad, which I hated to do cause their on vacation but I had to. He said it was no big deal he would call his friend, who does our air-conditioners, in a few days to go fix it. It's an easy fix, just have to blow out the clog in this 1inch PVC pipe. However the lid on the pipe has been on there for who knows how long and I do not poses the strength to pull it off. Also it makes me nervous trying because it's PVC it moves around a lot and I'm worried that in my attempt to pull the lid off something else might come apart. So I'm just leaving it alone and this man can come do it. lol.
So onto today. Tuesday Sept. 4th. The office was closed yesterday because it was Labor day. Well I woke up this morning feeling and looking like crap. I don't know why maybe this nasty weather just doesn't agree with me. Anyways I get to work and the air-conditioning doesn't work! AWESOME. So yea that's just great. One of the other secretary's called my dad and told him. He called back later and said that the air-conditioning guy would come by sometime today. SOMETIME doesn't that sound great. So yea that's my day and it isn't even lunch yet. woo hoo.
