Catching up

Wow, 2018 was the last time I posted something on here. I can understand that, life got really crazy for a couple of years. There were a lot of things that I didn't want to write about on here and then once everything was over I didn't want to relive it to put it up on here. But I guess it's time to start getting that craziness and frustration out.

There's a difference between telling my story and experiences with others out loud and sitting alone writing them down. When I'm talking to people about the things that I've gone through there's this sort of disconnect that happens. Like I'm telling someones else's story. Where as when I'm having to write it down I'm sitting alone having to relive the events and internalizing and processing everything, which is good for processing grief but also REALLY SUCKS!

So, I'm not sure how this is all going to come out and how I'm going to write everything on this blog but I guess I'm going to try to start off where I left after graduating with my Master's degree. So bare with me as some posts will be nice and happy and others might get kind of dark and sad. But I try to keep a positive attitude about things and look at how God can use anyone and any situation for His good and purpose.

First thing I'll write about is this great big pine tree that fell down in my parents yard back in 2018 during a hurricane. When I came down for Christmas that year I climbed all over it and took tons of photos. Just because I'm an adult doesn't mean I can't climb trees! Throw on some jeans, an old tshirt and some tennis-shoes and get on up there!
